Need to clean the ceramic water filter before doing dishes. Filled main gas tanks, will refill cans in Pt. Sanilac.
0845-Departed harbor, put away lines and fenders, set course, then went to work replacing the filter. Did dishes after I cleaned the old filter, to use as spare.
0930-Under power only. Calm wind and seas. Sunny and warm. Already 76F! SOG 5.1 kts., trip 4 NM. Auto pilot remote died so had to reset the autopilot for the course. Didn't charge it enough this morning!
1115-5 to 6 kt breeze from east, flat seas. Trip 13 NM, SOG 5.2 kts at 3200 rpm. No sails. Passed two trawlers going opposite direction.
Had a skin abrasion not healing so cleaned with hydrogen peroxide, applied some anti-biotic, and covered with a band aid. Should help.
1220-Finished lunch: Crackers, cheese, apple, nuts with white wine. Chocolates and red wine for desert. ETA 1400.
1430-At dock Port Sanilac. Tried to stuff me in a 17' slip! My beam is 16' without fenders, I looked once and so no go! They gave me a slip 20' wide, much better but still in a tight corner.

1530-Got checked in, topped off the two empty gas cans and hooked up shore power.

1730-Went to see if "Whisper" is still based here and to get an ice cream cone. Came back and topped up the main water tank and took a shower. Plan to go out for dinner tonight. Whisper was not here.
